OUR GARDEN THERAPY ROOM
A calming approach to psychotherapy in a quiet and dedicated natural space.
Nature has the potential to promote calm in order to reduce stress. To harness that goodness and bring it into our conversations, our psychotherapy sessions are held in a private garden therapy room in Mapperley, Nottingham.
Access to my garden is through a beautiful wrought iron gate, which sets the mood for our sessions with its nature-inspired design. A short flight of steps take us up a winding garden path to our therapy room at the end of the garden.

Tucked into a private corner and hugged by trees, our space is as close to being outside as you can be whilst being indoors and comfortable.
And the inside echoes the feeling of the surrounding garden, with soft yellows and greys of natural wood accented by blue fabrics and a cosy, log-effect fire.

I want you to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible during our therapy sessions so that you are able to think clearly and express your feelings in a supportive environment. This state of being will help us to talk through what you are struggling with and from there we can explore and find the best way to help you.
I believe the connection with nature that our therapy room provides really does help to facilitate this process.
My therapy space always helps me feel calm and centred, and I hope it can make you feel the same way, too.
